The Wrong Guy by Claudia Whitsitt

Wrong_Guy-highIt’s 1969. Catholic girls are a species of their own.

When Katie Hayes arrives at Eastern Michigan University, where a serial killer has brutally raped and murdered seven young women, she arms herself with a rosary and her Nancy Drew books. Yes, she’s a bit naïve. But her transition to college life is picture perfect. In her roommate, she finds the sister she never had. And in her speech class, she meets the man of her dreams. Then the unthinkable happens—Katie becomes the victim of a brutal crime, and her life begins to unravel. A crazed kidnapper is back on campus, and Katie finds herself not only in the middle of the investigation, but considered a possible suspect. On the heels of inconsolable loss, Katie begins to understand she is the intended target. As she realizes her life and the lives of the ones she loves are at risk, her Nancy Drew persona takes over. She is hell bent on trapping the perpetrator and making sure the man behind bars isn’t The Wrong Guy.

Talon’s Heart by Caroline Bourne

She is Talon Rose, half-blood daughter of a Comanche chief and a white captive. As an outlaw who prides herself on never having killed, she rides the Arizona badlands with Mexican bandits, rustling livestock to sell south of the border, and eludes a “hang on sight” order. . . until a US Marshal captures her. Taken to an American army camp deep in the Huachuca Mountains and forced to scout with Apaches, she is soon caught in a triangle wrought with desire.

John Nightwing, the Apache Chief of Scouts, proud and determined.

Major Laine Taylor, Officer of Scouts and a genteel Southern gentleman, stubborn and equally determined.

Talon’s heart is captured between the two equally imposing men, but only one can gain her undying love and devotion. Torn between her heritage and her heart, Talon Rose battles the demons of the world as fiercely as the ones within herself. But her struggle is not the only one, two desperate suitors face off in a passionate battle that may cost one man not only his heart, but also his life.

“Ms. Bourne weaves a splendid tale with the grace a historical romance deserves.” –Ellis Vidler, author of Cold Comfort

Marcel’s Gift by Marie Colligan (On Sale Now)

Marcel's Gift by Marie ColliganOne heart: two men.

She’s found the love of her life, too bad it isn’t the man she’s in love with. Love is fickle. It comes disguised in many forms.

It sneaked up on Canadian artist, Solange Bernard, like an intangible fog, breathing its magic whispers into her heart–compelling her, bewitching her, smothering her in the enchantment that was Ambrose. Her heart should have warned her when it recognized loves’ breathless spell. But she threw off the trappings of guilt and sin and wrapped herself in the shining aura of divine pleasure and discovery with Ambrose.

However, one question loomed with its confounding answer. “How was it possible for her to love two men at the same time…her husband and a priest of the Catholic Church?”

Lost and Found by Karen L. Syed (On Sale Now)

Lost and Found by Karen L. SyedAllison Ryder is not having her best day. Thanks to the Texas weather, the placement of a seemingly insignificant flyer on the windshield of her car has opened up a big ol’ can of worms. First, there’s the near miss with a dreamy brown-eyed man (Did we mention his not-so-charming attitude?). Then there is the overzealous new neighbor (a big wet dog who wants to play with Al in the rain). Then there is her dear and meddlesome best friend who wants everyone to be happy (her parents should have named her Cupid). All in all, things can’t get any worse!

Will Hoyt can’t believe he’s lost his dog. He wonders how he’ll ever be able to care for his niece if he can’t keep a pooch in hand. The flyers seemed like a good idea, until it rained, and the crazy lady in town tried to run over him. It’s taken some time to fall into a place where he could care for his late sister’s teenage daughter (What was he thinking? She’s a teenage girl!) The good news is that the dog has been found…but by the crazy lady. Things could be worse!

Even the rain can’t smother the sparks that fly between Will and Allison, so is it any wonder that their relationship will have to face off against chaos? (Did we mention the marriage?) But of course love is not all peaches and cream when Will faces the possibility of losing everything he holds dear.
