Biography:
Katie Pasek writes for children ages 5 to 14. Echelon Press/Quake published her story “Sure-foot Sam in Jeopardy,” a tale about Sure-foot Sam, a klutzy bank teller who wants to be the next Indiana Jones, and his intelligent, detailed-oriented English bulldog, Sir Reginald Higgins, who’d rather he not succeed. She self-published “Junior’s New Home,” a humorous story about a stuffed animal, Junior, who believes he’s a real orangutan. Katie had a short story, titled “The Grate Mall Caper,” published in The Lamp-Post magazine in summer 2007. She was also published in the Rostrum, the magazine for the National Forensic League. Katie completed a journalism major/writing minor at Susquehanna University in May 2002. She is an editor for Westlaw Journal, a Thomson Reuters business, in Wayne, Pa.
