Biography:
Cynthia Polansky channels her inner rebel by writing across several genres, much to the gratification of readers hungry for a change from the ubiquitous romances and mysteries. The award-winning author of two novels and five dog-breed reference books (written as Cynthia P. Gallagher), she is affiliated with the American Society of Journalists and Authors, the Dog Writers Association of America, and the Women’s National Book Association. A popular speaker at conferences and festivals, she also serves on the Petco Editorial Review Board for TFH Publications. During the academic year, Cynthia is a Writing Center tutor at the U.S. Naval Academy, waging war on incorrect grammar, one midshipman at a time. Cynthia’s current project is WHIFF: Human AromaThrough the Ages, a pop-reference book on all things humanly smelly.
